When COVID-19 hits us hard…
This has been a difficult season. As a church community, we had to stop meeting together. Stop our Sunday services, stop our fellowship groups and cut off our normal way of receiving tithes and ministering to our church and our greater community. This season has challenged our faith, our minds and emotions and our relationships. We are either running at the speed of light trying to adapt to the newest government regulations or we are too exhausted to continue with this good fight. Both of these extremes are normal during a tough season like we are going through now.
I have seen churches thrive as they adapt to using new technologies, and I’ve seen churches close their doors because they are at the end of their rope in terms of resources and ways to reach their community.
Today I want to encourage your, no matter what happened to your church, let God stir faith in your heart for the season to come.
We are in this together, whether we have thrived or barely survived:
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been perfected, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. — Philippians 3:12
